Congratulations to Apex DECA for being chosen as the 2008 November DECA Chapter of the Month.  Apex High School DECA members sold T-Shirts school wide for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  During lunches and home football games, members also sold MDA footballs to raise more money for MDA.  On October the 12th, Apex DECA participated in the 20th Annual Walk for Hope.  This charity walk raised money for the treatment and research for mental illness.  This was the 13th time that Apex DECA has participated in the walk!  Apex High School DECA also held a 5k Road Race on October 26th to raise even more funds for MDA. On November 2nd, Apex DECA held their 4th Annual Tennis Tournament at Kildaire Farms Racquet Club.  On November 11th, Apex DECA will host their 3rd Annual Golf Tournament.  This tournament will benefit the Hunter Leonard Memorial Scholarship and SADD.  The event will be held in Holly Springs.

Congratulations to Apex DECA.  This is one chapter that is ROCKIN', and not to a one hit wonder!
